About the Author

Michael Otterman is a journalist and human rights consultant based in New York City. He is the author of American Torture: From the Cold War to Abu Ghraib and Beyond. As a consultant, he has worked with NGOs from around the globe including Jubilee Australia and Catalyst Inc. Richard Hil is Senior Lecturer in Arts and Social Sciences at Southern Cross University, Australia.  Paul Wilson, OAM,  is Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences and Chair of Criminology at Bond University. He is the author or co-author of over 25 books on criminal justice.
